From September 12 till September 16, 2012, the Croatian federation for Sport for All and the city of Rovinj organize EUROTREFF, an EFCS labelled sports event in which competitors of different age groups compete in tennis (singles), football 7 and beach volleyball. This event continues the 20 year long tradition of TREF, the well-known tennis tournament.

The participants at the 2009 European Company Sport Games held in Rovinj, surely remember the fantastic atmosphere and the excellent infrastructure. The Croatians have spared no efforts to guarantee the same quality for the EUROTREFF event. Besides the sports program, the participants can also enjoy the rich cultural, gastronomic and touristic assets the city of Rovinj and Istria are famous for.

Project partners confirmed that only together can foster a powerful civil society, can put volunteering in Europe on higher level and promote dialogue between sport, culture and volunteering for development of individuals in Europe.

We established a constructive dialogue among project partners and with stakeholders at the European and national level and called on the European Commission to further strengthen its on-going dialogue and cooperation with the sport for all sector specifically and volunteering sector in sport and in general.

It is our experience that our sport for all and volunteering sector do not have a very easy access to media and the political level, both national and at municipal level. So such projects, supported by the European Commission could be an occasion to reach various political level and media, to spread the important message of international cooperation and volunteering.

UFOLEP – Union Française des Oeuvres Laiques d'Education Physique – and ISCA – International Sport and Culture Association, have the pleasure to invite you to the training : “SWELL: YOUTH TRAINING FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS.”

The training will focus on healthy behaviour and physical activity from three different perspectives (Perspective on the relevance of physical activity for physical health as well as mental and social well-being, Human Rights perspective, and Preventive perspective).

The 4th conference of the International Society for the Social Sciences of Sport will take place at Hotel Lek in lovely alpine resort Kranjska gora from 19th to 22nd September 2012.

Previous three conferences, held in Warsaw (Poland) and Olomouc (Czech), brought together the experts from various countries from around the world (USA, Spain, Italy, Iran, Pakistan, Japan, England, Portugal, Finland, Gambia, Poland, Brasilia, Hungary, Slovenia and the Czech Republic).
