Wind in Your Hair - with sports against drugs

Wind in Your Hair is one of the biggest non-governmental sports humanitarian programs organized by the Sports Union of Slovenia since 1996, with which we warn the youth, encourage and offer them an active, friendly, cheerful, relaxed, dynamic view of life and use of their free time.

Our partners and local communities, which the Sports Union of Slovenia supports, organize meetings and sports competitions such as basketball (three-point shootouts), volleyball, football, roller skating, street dancing, drawing on asphalt etc., which take place in numerous towns throughout Slovenia.

THE PURPOSE:

• Program made for children and youth between 11 and 20 years of age.
• To attract the greatest possible number of active participants to the campaign, who would find the possibility for establishing their own personality in a more constructive way than drug addiction.
• To prevent from drug abuse and not to treat drug addiction.
• To present a healthy way of spending free time in an interesting, dynamic, active and attractive manner.

• Music, local pop music groups, concerts for the participants and the viewers

We are always open for new ideas and local particularities, like dancing, painting, discussions about drugs, etc.
